MayDay Saturday News-Chops

MayDay Saturday News-Chops
1st May 2010.

HAPPY MAYDAY, REVOLUTIONARIES!!!

Sky news on mobile reported this morning, in a 'triumphant' mood, Malcolm Turnbull's withdrawal of his plan to retire from federal parliament, thus bringing him back into the fray.

Sky also had an item about W.A. Greens Senator Adele Carles, saying her prospects were grim, as it is possible the W.A. Greens will dump her, or such.

And, Sky dutifully reported that the oil rig disaster in the Gulf of Mexico is growing at an HUGE rate, enough for President Obama to make media about it, and about the federal governments dispatching of lots of people to help minimize the oil slick.

1st News-Chop:

Turnbull confirms decision to stay
(http://www.skynews.com.au/topstories/article.aspx?id=457177)
Updated: 13:39, Saturday May 1, 2010

Former federal opposition leader Malcolm Turnbull has announced his decision not to resign from politics with a scathing attack on Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

Speaking to reporters in Sydney on Saturday Mr Turnbull said the support of members of the Liberal Party and hundreds of people in the community led him to reconsider his April 6 decision to retire from the seat of Wentworth, in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Kevin Rudd's decision to shelve the government's emissions trading scheme was 'the greatest act of political gutlessness anyone has ever seen', Mr Turnbull added.

Mr Turnbull was replaced by Tony Abbott as federal opposition leader in December after Liberal MPs revolted against his support for emissions trading.

'I give my total support to Tony Abbott as leader of the Liberal Party,' Mr Turnbull added.

(Nice how Sky keeps it's reports short and to the point, makes it easy to slip into my blog-posts.)

Firstly, his decision wouldn't have been his own, and it's likely his announced retirement earlier wasn't either. The Sky report does say as much, about his change.

It could be assumed that his scathing attack on Kevin Rudd, was merely for the media, to add a bit of sensationalism to his return, and his saying that Rudd was the worst PM Australia has had, is clearly over the top. A media hype-type exaggeration.

Rudd and the federal ALP, as much as I'm now fairly anti-the big three parties, is/are, against many irrational odds, doing his/their best to make our political and economic, and even environmental systems better.

Most of the stumbling blocks which have thwarted their Progressive actions and corrections, have either been built by the severely obstructionist, to the point of being 'illegal', federal opposition, or those stuck-in-the-mud polies clambering for recognition and power, on the cross-benches.

It is almost insane for Turnbull to say that he thinks Rudd is the worst PM we've had. I think the vast majority could point to more than one Liberal PM of the last five decades, as being much worse, with, in the light of the REALPolitik evidence, and the truth, more than enough to prove it.

I wuz a kid when McMahon was there, but seem to recall his being more than a silly-looking fellow (no disrespect intended)..... I'll say no more against him for lack of ability to support it.

And, fresh in everyone's memory is the tyrant Howard, albeit that he too, was a puppet. But we can't expect Turnbull to speak negatively about Johnette, can we?

I know that ex-Liberal PM Malcolm Fraser had few good impressions of Howard, at least while Howard was PM.

Nevertheless...

As Turnbull is the federal Liberal rep for the upclub electorate of Wentworth, explains why he is able to say that “hundreds of people in the community led him to reconsider his decision to retire”. It IS Sydney, the centre boiler room of corruption in Australia. And, as I have put repeatedly, and, accurately, in general, a quite mentally ill society and culture.

But, and getting down to the point of my News-Chop here, I suspect that he has been bought-off, brought back into favour and the house, with likelihood of a Coalition shadow cabinet position, because the lads at Liberal party HQ, down there in Sydom and Canbmorah, have watched the coalition fall further down the sewer-pipe, even more out of favour with the voters, due to HEY Abbott's pathetic performances.

If I had any to spare, I'd put money on their having a secret plan to give him another shot at the leadership chair, perhaps before the election.

I don't think I'm alone, in perceiving Tony Abbott as a lame duck, with little or no political skills worthy of his current position, and with absolutely no economic credibility, so Turnbull at least had that “all important” (NOT!) charisma, and the verve anyone would expect-nay-demand of either an opposition or government leader.

I'd say that even the Liberals and Nat's, or some number of them, would have seen, or would have come to see Abbott in the same way, and thus I reckon they've done the figures, and the quiet polling, and realised, one, I'm right, for chiding Abbott as I've done since he was sat in the leadership chair, and two, that they'd better dump him soon, or they'll be even more humiliated later this year.

But, I do believe, though have little faith in Australian voters, that the current Liberals, and Nationals are as good as a dying breed in this “new day” type of era.

This, however, is not an endorsement of Labor, because they are so near to the other two majors, when we boil it all down. But they do seem to be trying, again, against many-odds, from within our own peoples and from overseas forces, to implement better standards of governance, with far better perspectives on the overall long term, and with a much more democratic view.

Funny how the “tempest” wind starts blowing as I write this open derision of the egomaniacs' party?

Obviously, as I've been so bashed by the Laborite, read-Roman forces over my life, for Rome's disgusting cult deception and self-interested plan, having me decide to never vote for Labor again, it doesn't mean I disagree with them being in government.

I WOULD prefer a Green government, but there is just not the acumen nor experience, nor the numbers representative of them yet. So while they increase their standing in our parliaments, Labor is the preferred option.

I suggest that we'll see a Labor-Greens Coalition after the next federal election, with a dramatic decline in Lib-Nat support and representation.

On Labor and the Greens, the ALP's decision to can the ETS, is not, to me, a sign they are retreating from going greener. I'd like to think they have also thought about “agricultures'” contribution to our overall pollution, and that excluding the agricultural industry from having to comply, or reduce it's pollutants output, according to their proposed ETS Bill, was a mistake. Again, a “mistake” forced upon them by national and overseas interests' lobby groups anonymous.

If this is anywhere near being so, then we might expect that Labor are back at the drawing board with the ETS, and are on track to releasing an improved version, which will be more effective, less evasive of the REALPolitik and REALAgrikultural issues, and actually do something toward making our general Aussie culture less “sinful”, that is less wasteful, less materialistic and less consumptive, etc etc etc.

Perhaps....?

But, at the end of the day...., such improvements, and REALPolitik outcomes, are in the hands of the SERIOUSLY DISCREDITED “International Monetary Fund” the IMF, and their offshore corporate mental health patients, er, the CEOs of the world's most evil cabals.

Perhaps the thinking Philosopher-Peoples of Greece can keep the Protests alive there, against the tyrannical IMF, to suade the rest of the “Euro-zone” to clean-up it's own front yard, and their backyards of post-colonial external states, like Australia, and NSW?

And the rest of the planet?

If Greece and Spain and the other, yet to be announced FAILED STATES of Eurape and it's kind, continue to attract “junk status” according to the world's credit-rating agencies, then we'll see the IMF dwindle in influence and force worldwide, which can only be a Good-big-G Thing.

Having IMF executives see fully just how mentally ill they have been, for centuries, and now are, is asking too much though, methinks.

It's far more likely they will orchestrate another media-grabbing conflict - a major war - before they step down from their egopodiums and admit their organisation's long-standing errors?

But, back to Malcolm Turnbull's contra-decision.., the last line of the Sky news article text, reads..., 'I give my total support to Tony Abbott as leader of the Liberal Party,' Mr Turnbull added.

Knowing our political deceptions as I think I do, I'd say we can take this as Turnbull saying, “Yep! I'm ready to take back the leadership!”

2nd News-Chop:

Adele Carles and Western Australian Greens party.

Carles faces no-confidence vote
(http://www.skynews.com.au/topstories/article.aspx?id=457070)
Updated: 07:08, Saturday May 1, 2010

West Australian MP Adele Carles is expected to face a no-confidence motion from within her own party today.

The party is reportedly worried about voter reaction to her admission of an affair with former Treasurer Troy Buswell.

Buswell stood down from his position after the news of the affair and speculation that he had misused ministerial entitlements, claims he's denied.

Ms Carles, Fremantle MP, has been implicated with Mr Buswell after he admitted the two spent taxpayer funds to book a hotel in Sydney.

The Sky news on-mobile report said more than this text from their website. Nevertheless...

In a post a few days ago, after this had been in the media for a few days, I threw around theories that the W.A. “girls” had conspired to bring the chauvinistic W.A. Liberal party treasurer Troy Buswell down. Most of my thinks on that were tongue-in-cheek.

Today, with this report that the W.A. Greens might fire a vote of no confidence at Mrs Carles, it seems more likely that the, or any conspiracy came from the Liberals.

It IS their underhanded way of scuttling threats to their ethics-free hold on power.

Pauline Hanson just one example. She, and the West Australian Labor ex-Premier, whose name I just cannot recall, the highly intelligent woman who was destroyed by an evil cabal from both sides of W.A. Politics in the 1990s, that-is, from also the male chauvinist pigs inside her own W.A. ALP, were victims of the anti-women lobbies of passed global tyrannies, again, the IMF, no doubt had their noses involved.

Federal Labor would not have been uninvolved either.

But that, they, were of what we might call “a passed era”.

The “era” our conservative Liberal and National parties are fighting hard, in every ring, to keep alive, or, to revive.

Tony Abbott just one example.

Britain's David Cameron another. (He IS a cousin of the rather conservative Queen Elizabeth 2!)

But on Adele Carles..., as I've scribed before in this blog, the Greens all around Australia, and I'd reckon, around the world, have much of their beginnings in a fairly conservative, upper class level of society.

Many of the initiators have been females, and often rather “prim and proper” types. I'd guess and say that many of today's male Greens, in parties or not, were raised by progressive, upper class mums, who were astute in these “environmental” sort of issues, and so influenced their kids, their boys in those ways.

Rather than them being egomaniacal flirts, akin to the extroverted women we all know or see in business, real estate, showbiz, etc., they, women who go through university and become intellectuals or such, not necessarily in academia or the like, for as many if not more are middle-of-the-road, middle-class mums and workers, they are often thinkers enough to refrain from elicit, especially extramarital affairs, so I suspect they might, look down on Adele Carles, for her mis-steps. Thus, I sense, that this, their own values, may be what offers Adele a threat to her standing?

A sticky issue, no doubt? I don't criticise the “prims-and-propers” here, but wonder, if their frowning on Adele is exactly as the Liberals and the political class who are frightened of a rising Greens party planned?

Of course, I'm over here, and totally out of any society, so can't assert that I'm correct at all.

The W.A. Greens probably have done their polling and the numbers and may have actually seen and confirmed that this affair does threaten their popularity in the elections, state and federal?

But, as I'm a big-time sceptic, I cannot go passed the possibility that there is, INSIDE the W.A. Greens, subversive activity, intended to effect just such division within it?

At this stage in the changes we are pretty-much all calling for, towards a more Green political, economic and cultural planet, if Adele has been sufficiently effective in her role in politics, and if surveys in W.A., by a Wise Greens party can determine whether the Carles/Buswell affair and post affair media-hype (remembering that next to none of our media are either impartial or pro-Greens, so will in-the-end tilt the reportage against the Greens), do NOT show a fall in trust and popularity for the Greens, there and Aus-wide, then she should be supported and given the “vote of confidence” it seems is so important.

In this I mean that every representative counts at this stage, and so to risk an effect counter to what the W.A. Greens members wanted by a no-confidence vote, might not be Wise.

Not a tolerant person, generally quite unforgiving of those who have ruined my life, etc, I nevertheless, ask the W.A. Greens to think deep and hard about tossing Adele out.

I can't say the affair was trivial, or incidental, being no small “stick-in-the-mud” meself.

But if I can speak highly of Senator Bob Brown and recommend that the Clubsters whom I align myself with, and the majority of Australians, support him and his Greens political parties (state and federal, or, Local and Federal), while he is Homosexual, then it's not too much to call the W.A. Greens, “prim-and-propers” or not, to go passed the Carles/Buswell mess.

In a recent blog-post, I ridiculed Western Australia in general for it's being somewhat wrong-headed in it's racism, and in other issues of culture and politics.

Of course, I was generalising, which is a bit naughty.

But as I've also scribed-on about, muchly, if the general culture is “wrong-headed”, and if we are born into and raised in it, it's as likely we will become similar in the way we think, see and live.

So, and I ask forgiveness from the Greens in Western Australia for this, I'm inclined to think that the W.A. Greens might be a little right-wing, in regard to beliefs about what IS best in politics and economics and culture, etc., therefore they'd best be very, extremely, careful in what they employ to decide on the Party's future.

But, who knows, maybe ADELE is the subversive???

I think not. Politics anywhere in Australia is a ruthless and vicious industry, as is law. Any female who rises to the level that Adele has made it to, is constantly under threat from the male bastions.

Bastions who cannot stop themselves from scheming for any perceived rivals' downfall.

Personally, out of the loop as I am, I nevertheless believe a vote of no confidence against Adele Carles by the W.A. Greens party would be terribly destructive to the Issues the Greens address, Policies, Politics and future of the Greens generally, to women in politics (which says something significant, as I have become a misogynist of recent years!), and to any Progressive political attempts anywhere here, to clean-up our deeply astray and horrendously corrupt political AND legal systems.

Adele Carles may not be Prime Minister “material”, but she IS there. Don't overlook that, Western Australia.

Finally on affairs Western Australian, I have to add that the Finest, Most Noble Man I've ever known, my own Step-Father, Allan Nichols Meredith, was born and raised in Western Australia. So yee can't be ALL that bad?

A bloody Fine Father he was/is too! And, I reckon he was a stern, but damn Good Sergeant-Major, weapons' instructor, and member of the First Australian Parachute Battalion R.A.E.!

Australia's first Battalion of Commandos, or “S.A.S.”

US air force deployed to aid oil spill
http://www.skynews.com.au/topstories/article.aspx?id=457221 (this isn't the link to the article I've pasted in below, but goes to the issue, in more detail and updated actually. There ya go Jimmy Murdoch! Don't say I don't do anything for ya! Or are you REALLY the "Lex Luther" of Bigville!?)
Updated: 09:32, Saturday May 1, 2010

Two US Air Force planes will spray chemicals to help break up the Gulf Coast oil spill, US officials said.

The two C-130 Hercules cargo planes were staging for their flights at Lake Charles, Louisiana, after getting their orders on Friday, Defence Department press secretary Geoff Morrell said.

The planes were sent on Thursday.

Defence Secretary Robert Gates also was considering a request from Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal for the federal government to pay for 6000 National Guard soldiers and airmen who were mobilised on Friday to help with security, medical needs, engineering and other tasks.

Asked if he was confident the military was doing all it could to help, Morrell said: 'We are confident that we are providing what has been asked of us and what is required of us at this point.'

But he noted the situation continued to evolve as oil seeped into Louisiana's wetlands and threatened to push deeper inland.

'This is a dynamic, changing situation,' Morrell said, and the military will help as needed.

The Navy said it was sending booms, skimmers and contractors to and opening two of its bases in Mississippi and Florida as staging areas.

The help was provided under existing agreements the two services have with the Coast Guard for such efforts.

US Northern Command has officers on the coast working with the Department of Homeland Security to figure out what more may be needed, Morrell said.

Kinda makes the recent coal ship that ran aground on the Great Barrier Reef pale into a puddle, doesn't it?

I had lots of anti-BP thoughts this morning, when I watched this item on the mobile news.

BP”, standing for “Biggest Polluters”, just one of them!

At this point in the spreading slick catastrophe, it does seem like it's going to be an unprecedented disaster.

Where it ends, is open to the gods, I guess?

But it seems to re-beg the question of the legitimacy of such oil rigs?

More, it actually begs deep questions about the legitimacy of the “engine” of human consumption and our need for profligate over-abuse of such resources - oil!?

I can't be the only one on Earth who sees that our apparent demands for oil are centred in corrupt economics.

That-is, our apparent need to consume this type of energy-source, is directly centred in how we use the Land we occupy.

“If we were spread right,
Fun, family, friends, and a job,
Would, by foot, bike or tram,
Be happily at hand!”

(a verse from a song I wrote a few years ago)

But who lays down the laws on how we live?

Oh! The IMF!

THEIR banks, Swiss banks in the main, and British.

And, the most powerful cults of Judaism, Catholicism and Freemasonry.

Again, I can't be the only bloke on Eartha, who sees clearly that if Humanity were to GET ORGANISED and put together a Global Humanitarian Court, which was founded upon the Highest, (yes “Strictest”) Impartial Laws, such fraudulent and in-the-end evil cults and their ruthless and planet-destroying beliefs and behaviours could be dissembled relatively peacefully?

As long as we all sit on our fat-cells and do nothing about the illegitimate cult powerhouses behind our forced lifestyles of over-consumption, disasters like the Biggest Polluters in the Gulf of Mexico will happen again and again.

No-one can convince me that these types of industry are what we must have to make ourselves armed enough against invading aliens from Orion or some other star system. And that would, if it is actual, surely be the worst possible threat to life on Earth?

No!

These are all the manifestation of utterly insane - crazy - mentally ill - evil - Human Beings, and predominantly from the white, western world.

Come on America! Your coast is most threatened!

Come on Europe! You house the HQ's of these errant fools!

And the rest of us, from China to Brasil, from Iceland to South Africa, from Alaska to Tasmania, are letting ourselves be victims to utter stupidity!

And yet, way down here in dummiland Astrayliar, we have all manner of people jumping onto their little soapboxes arguing against, and trying to scare the public about the most Honorable, most Environmentally-friendly method of taxation known to Humanity - Land Tax!

A taxation which, if allowed to be effected fully, would eliminate these false needs and demands for excessive energy-consumption, thus would also, ALSO, would maximally reduce this utterly psychotic drive for MORE OIL MORE OIL MORE OIL MORE ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTERS!

Fuck Humans!? You really make me wanna be on another star system!

I think Alpha Centaurii has Intelligence Humanity just doesn't understand, nor even perceive of?

When I die......
