My Comment To The Guardian On Where Is The Government's Line On Handouts?

The government needs to be consistent on which struggling industries should get assistance and in what circumstances

Cars cars carcinogens!

The end of entitlement, to kill the planet!

The only way Australian auto makers could ever come into the 21st century was by killing them stone dead.

The whole structure, is riddled with out of date concepts.

As an example, take a look at the "Tesla" USA car makers website [no, no vested interest, other than seeing the planet-saving aspects] http://www.teslamotors.com

and stare at the pictures of the underbody, chassis, and the electric motors etc, they have posted.

That's just one example.

'Lateral thinking' is crucial today, especially in such mass-polluting 'devices'.

So, more humorous than detailed and expert, hit

for an alternative perspective on autos. [Be warned, rude words are written therein!]

It's possible the Ford and GMH and perhaps even Toyota management have done their sums, and seen that all the resourcing and materials, and the factory machinery, modern thought they be, used in making our dated concepts of autos, has to be killed off so they or another venturer, can start completely afresh - 21C-style?

We generally need cars, but not having one is progressive, and considerate.

Generally, we've not been regarded as an entrepreneurial mob, leaving the investment and R&D to other peoples.

But perhaps that's our banks faults for not opening up credit to uncertain ambitions?

Now, with a larger population, so, with more daring to venture into possible new industries, closing the old old very old concepts of Ford's, GM's and other autos, opens up opportunities for newer, 21st century, alternative materials and designs and fuels systems, etc.

One of the biggest negs, of the old car designs, has been the addiction to using mined metals - steel, and aluminum.

None of the makers cold severe their relationships with the steel makers, etc, without even larger job losses, and whole industries shutting down.

Maybe they have to, at least 'scale back'?

But with this correction from mass stupidity in designs and resources, government has also to come into the 21st century, and I posit related to this, is to legalize Hemp industrial production.

Totally renewable! Totally 'Green! [with a hahaha!]

Henry Ford himself did it the 1930s, but was voted down by - the steel makers!

And, I guess, but don't know for certain, the same Hemp plants produce tonnes of the highest nutrition seeds, for eating.

Laws, must be straightened, in road use, resources use, beneficial product legalities, and in allowing Humans to think outside the draconian, 'dark ages' squares of O! Our politicians!
